Mel has worked at Davison since 2013 beginning as a receptionist, she was then promoted to head receptionist. Mel is a keen outdoorsy type and the proud owner of three little dogs, two horses and her daughter’s little pony.
Claire has worked as a receptionist at Davison since 2014, prior to this she worked in textiles for 20 plus years. Claire lives on a small holding with her husband and a collection of animals: dogs, cats, goats, pigs, cows and horses – all pets. Claire feels that working at Davison continues her passion for looking after animals.
Carol has been a receptionist at Davison since 2005 and she also runs her own pet sitting service. Carol has recently acquired a young cockatiel that she has named Suzie. Carol also supports a wonderful charity called hounds for heroes and recently raised over £1000 for them by doing a parachute jump.
Ruth joined the practice as a receptionist in November 2015, she enjoys getting to know the clients and their pets and she loves meeting new clients. You may see Ruth out horse riding, pounding local footpaths or blasting around on her motorbike looking for new places to explore.
Jan is semi-retired and has worked for Davison since January 2017. Jan’s interests are running, cycling, walking and caravanning. Jan does not have any pets but house sits friends with small holdings a couple of times a year and dog sits for friends whilst they are away.
Jo has worked for Davison vets since 2008. Jo has two dogs, two ducks and five rabbits. Jo’s interests are wildlife, football and she enjoys eating out and socialising with friends. Jo’s family are very important to her and she has a strong belief and support for animal welfare.
Sophia has worked at Davison has a receptionist since July 2015. Sophia has Mika a cross between Shar Pei and a Bullmastiff, also two Bichon Frise named Mimi and Cleo and Zach a Bengal cat. Sophia’s hobbies include travelling and snowboarding and she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. Sophia likes working with a strong team at Davison who work hard to ensure the clients get the best treatment when visiting the practice.
